Safe the date! In March the next seminar is being held with master Antonio Langiano and Alessio Pasciulli. Master Antonio is a 7th degree black belt of the Chinese Martial Arts Shuai Jiao Association (Taiwan) and is direct disciple of Chang Dawei (grandson of Chang Tung Sheng and instructor at the Central Police University of Taiwan). He is co-founder and president of the European Shuai Jiao Union and his mission is to promote shuai jiao in Europe. His student Alessio is learning Shuai Jiao since he was a child, he is a successful competitor and won the world championship 2013 in China.
We are more than happy to welcome our friends in Germany again to teach shuai jiao. The seminar will be held in the 1st Mannheimer Judo Club and is supported by the German Shuai Jiao Union. A Statement by the ESJU Executive Board
The European Shuai Jiao Championship was scheduled to take place in Kiev (Kyiv), Ukraine, in May, this year. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and its implications, have been discussed by the ESJU Executive Board.
In the interests of the safety of those due to participate, in the European Shuai Jiao Championships, it is with regret that the ESJU Executive Board have made the decision to postpone the event.
The ESJU Executive Board will provide further advice regarding the next European Shuai Jiao Championships, in due course.
The ESJU Executive Board remain deeply concerned about the safety of the Chinese Wrestling (Shuai Jiao) community in Ukraine; and hope and pray for their safety; and for peace to be restored, in Europe.
